Employee vs Contractor

Relocation reimbursement is expected if I'm asked to move to the city and work in a cubicle. Since I have the tools and the expertise to provide stakeholders with hi-tech services from virtually anywhere, I prefer to work for a modern corporation that understands the technical advances available. I provide project analysis consulting and custom software to American organizations preferably as an independent contractor. Collaboration is delivered by virtual teleconference appointments, online or over the phone.

If a corporation prefers an employee agreement, I prefer North Carolina, northwest South Carolina, Florida, northeast Georgia or east Tennessee. Advanced technology and dependability provides everything necessary to complete complex tasks from anywhere. Delivering successful results are more important to me than having a corporate office space.

Executive Team

As a contractor, several subcontractors may be assigned to complete sections of complex software. Team players expect a generous compensation package for providing their expertise. Greed doesn't belong in a team based environment. Multifaceted software projects may span beyond their scope without a heavy-duty RAD (Rapid Application Development) team.

There are several strategies to prevent scope creep. Critical collaboration with stakeholders will impact the success and completion rate. Completing a project ahead of schedule is an incentive to give team players a hefty bonus.
